Hi, I'm Camila! Dominican-born, graphic design student at the University of North Carolina at Charlotte with a passion for creating thoughtful, purpose-driven design.

My design journey began as Editor-in-Chief of my high school yearbook, where I developed a strong foundation in photography, layout, and visual storytelling. Since then, I’ve continued to build on those skills through my involvement at UNC Charlotte. I currently work as a Graphic Design Intern with Dining Services (Chartwells/Niner Diners), creating visual content for campus-wide promotions, and previously interned with the UNCC Division of Research, designing infographics and digital materials to support research communications. I also serve as President of Niner Designers, the university’s student-led design organization, where I help foster a collaborative creative community.

Beyond campus, I’ve gained professional experience as a Marketing Intern at STV Incorporated, a nationwide engineering firm, and through collaborative work with Carolina PRG, a Charlotte-based recruiting company. Together, these experiences have shaped my approach to design — blending creativity, strategy, and clear communication across a variety of formats.
